Nepal Hope, a public charity, was established by Sam and Lynne Topham after doing humanitarian work for LDS Charities in Nepal for 21/2 years.
During this time they worked with local Non-Government Organizations (NGO's) and the Nepali government on clean water projects, educational projects, libraries, community development, wheel chair distributions and biomedical engineering issues.
Recognizing the extreme needs of the Nepali people and having made friends and contacts, they want to continue the work.
They purchased a home in Nepal and will spend 5 months per year there.
The organizers and officers of Nepal Hope serve without any compensation or expense reimbursement.
Nepal Hope has almost no overhead, more than 95% of all contributions go directly to the projects.
